self care image smallWe’re teaming up with the NHS to celebrate Self-Care Week with a week of free taster sessions! Self-care is not just about keeping your body healthy, but keeping your mind healthy too, and this means making time to do things that make you happy. So come along and try something new – it might end up being your new favourite hobby!

In yin yoga we focus on the connective tissues, such as the ligaments and joints, which are often overlooked in the flowing style of yoga class. Areas such as the back and hips can become stiff, and yin yoga can help to address such issues. A regular yin class may also help with mental and physical tension, sleeping problems, digestive issues, and chronic body pain. Classes are suitable for all levels; we work slowly and mindfully and use props such as bolsters and cushions.

In this taster session we’ll explore a few simple yin poses and some guided relaxation, surrounded by the aromas of calming essential oils.

Please bring a blanket/cushion with you.
