£50.00 Early-bird if booked by 1st April / £60.00 thereafter
Sunday 15th April 10.00am - 5.00pm
Drawing on her books, especially the acclaimed In Case of Spiritual Emergency, this one-day experiential mindfulness retreat will teach you how to use the calming and grounding effects of mindfulness in your day-to-day lives. Suitable for both experienced meditators, as well as those new to mindfulness, you’ll explore and experience key mindfulness principles and practices.
“When we learn or practice mindfulness, we can’t help but bring more kindness to our lives. As our self-awareness grows, so too, instinctively, does our self-nurture and self-care. These are the qualities and skills we need above all in challenging times, whether on a personal or global level.” Catherine G. Lucas
Catherine G Lucas has had four books published on the holistic approach to emotional and psychological well-being. Her latest two are both in the Sheldon Press Mindfulness Series. She has been teaching mindfulness since 2007, to groups including NHS therapists and soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. Catherine is a highly experienced group facilitator and has been meditating for over 15 years.
