Mondays 15th, 22nd January, 5th & 12th February (four sessions) 7.00pm – 8.30pm
Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils to assist with physical, emotional and spiritual imbalances, though it is also a wonderful preventative modality, helping to keep us balanced, healthy and positive. Essential oils are complex substances and have been used since ancient times by many cultures, prized for their medicinal, therapeutic, anti-ageing and spiritual properties.
During this introductory course, participants will enter into the world of aromatherapy and essential oils, discovering what they are, how they are extracted, how they may be used to help heal body, mind and spirit, what we need to be aware of in terms of safety, and how we can easily and effectively incorporate aromatherapy into our daily lives. There will be an introduction to essential oil blending, and in the final class participants will have the opportunity to make their own aroma-stick with their personalised blend of oils.
Classes can be attended individually, though attending all four will make for a comprehensive introductory course.
