Helen de la Catherine

This course is aimed at those with little or no meditation experience, those nervous about learning, or maybe even those looking to refresh their practice and hopefully learn something new. It will introduce various different types and techniques of meditation/mindfulness activity, with some information about each, to get you started on your meditation journey. The meditations will be fairly short and fully guided.

Attendees will not only learn various meditations and mindfulness exercises, but they will also learn about the reported benefits of each type, and how meditation/mindfulness may be useful for, or integrated into, their daily lives. The course aims to de-mystify meditation and make it more understandable, fun, and beneficial to those who have never learnt, or those who may be anxious about learning.

The course will consist of 5 X 1-hour sessions, all held on Tuesday mornings.

Chairs will be provided for participants, however, if you prefer to lie down during meditation you may wish to bring your own:

  • Yoga Mat
  • Cushion

All attendees are advised to bring their own:

  • Refreshments

Unfortunately, we are unable to supply any of these for the foreseeable future

Drop-ins cannot be accommodated at this time so please book in advance.
