IN-HOUSE: MINDFUL MOVEMENT FOR COGNITIVE HEALTH

This is a FREE taster session and introduction to Mindful Movement for Cognitive Health; an 8-week course held at The Isbourne to support those living with cognitive conditions. Using the movement practice of TMW (Tai Chi Movements for Wellbeing) the classes offer the opportunity to adopt a new vision of the everyday while engaging with a simple exercise programme that enhances our mental, physical and emotional health.

-Classes include a 1hr tutor-led session followed by social time and refreshments

-Benefits can include improvement of balance and coordination, relief from stress and anxiety, building neural connections, stimulating short-term memory and making new friendships.

-Participants are welcome to come as individuals or with a carer/loved one. Sessions are customised for individual needs

-Fully supported by a home practice DVD

-Enhanced 4-week follow on course available
