IN-HOUSE: THE YOGA OF VOCAL SOUND
Our essential nature is vibration. The closer our frequencies are to their optimum the more we become free of our limited self and experience awareness, wholeness and harmony. The use of therapeutic sound through the natural healing resonance of the voice has the potential to do this re-tuning. This workshop offers various forms of vocal toning which act as resonators for our subtle energy field which includes the chakras.. Also contributing to this process are the Taoist healing sounds for the organs and their associated emotions. Simple movements, similar to Chi Kung, are brought into play to encourage and direct the sounds. The culmination of these practices is meditation on these sounds, bringing us deep peace and an expanded state of consciousness. No previous experience of any kind is required, only the deep intent for self-transformation.
James D’Angelo has been leading his Soundspirit courses in the UK, Europe and the USA since 1996 and is considered a leading authority on sound healing practices. As a wellbeing and educational charity, The Isbourne aims to make its courses and workshops accessible to all regardless of income. We have researched how other organisations fund their courses and come up with a three tier pricing system:Supported rate: this fee is less than the Standard and allows anyone with financial challenges to still participate. You do not have to show proof, this is offered on trust.
Standard rate: this is how much we would like all participants to pay as it covers The Isbourne costs and supports the tutor.
Sponsor rate: this is a little more than the Standard fee and allows you to subsidise and support others who might not be able to pay the Standard fee.
You choose what tier of payment best suits you - no questions asked!
