IN-HOUSE: YOGA FOR WELLBEING

Jo Fellows

Yoga benefits every body shape and stage of life. Jo Fellows invites you to take a journey into yoga as a tool for life on and off the yoga mat. This workshop is suitable for beginners and more experienced yogis alike.

Yoga postures (asanas), breathwork (pranayama) and meditation strengthen our mind-body connection, improving not only overall fitness, but mental strength and wellbeing. It teaches us how to centre ourselves, calm our minds, and brings peace and relaxation.

Science confirms that it reduces stress levels, cortisol, lowers heart rate and blood pressure leaving you feeling more focused and harmonious. Studies also show that practicing yoga improves body awareness, which can lead to better eating habits. Exercise, diet, and sleep become something you think about naturally, all three become a necessary and vital part of your life and livelihood. This, in turn, can lead to a better quality of life, increased self-esteem, and a desire to take better care of yourself and your body.

Jo is an Advanced Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 200, RYT 500 Yoga Alliance International) and has been a Reiki master since 2008 and teachers Reik and Yogai all over the world. She also has an ITEC Diploma in Holistic Massage and has trained with the Bristish School of Meditation. She is a trained sound therapist after completing her training with the renowned Peter Hess Institute. Recently she has become a Qigong instructor with the Long White Cloud Qigong training school.

In a previous life Jo worked as a fashion editor for such prestigious magazines as Harper's Bazaar!

As a wellbeing and educational charity, The Isbourne aims to make its courses and workshops accessible to all regardless of income. We have researched how other organisations fund their courses and come up with a three tier pricing system:

Supported rate: this fee is less than the Standard and allows anyone with financial challenges to still participate. You do not have to show proof, this is offered on trust.

Standard rate: this is how much we would like all participants to pay as it covers The Isbourne costs and supports the tutor.
Sponsor rate: this is a little more than the Standard fee and allows you to subsidise and support others who might not be able to pay the Standard fee.

You choose what tier of payment best suits you - no questions asked!
