Combining Psychotherapy, Psychology and Coaching, Lulu practices from an integrated approach, which involves selecting techniques from different therapeutic orientations best suited to a Client's particular issue. Therapeutically, she mainly works with Polyvagal Theory, the Person-Centred Approach, Transactional Analysis, CBT & Jungian theory. Psychologically, she brings a behavioural and evolutionary perspective.

Prior to establishing her busy private practice in the Cotswolds, where she sees a wide diversity of Clients, Lulu’s clinical experience began as a trauma-informed Psychotherapist at a women's charity.  It was there that she gained extensive experience working with survivors of rape, sexual violence, child sexual abuse and domestic violence.

Lulu is a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a student member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT). She is fully committed to working within their professional guidelines which are governed by the BACP Ethical Framework, the BPS Framework, the COSRT code of ethics and practice and the BACP Coaching Competence Framework.

Lulu’s qualifications include a MSc in Psychotherapy (MBACP), a PgCert in Counselling, a BSc in Psychology (GMBPsS) and she is currently working towards a Diploma in Clinical Sexology and Relationship Therapy which is COSRT accredited.

Lulu’s areas of expertise include; trauma & post-traumatic stress, child sexual abuse & childhood adversity, depression, anxiety disorders, sexual violence & rape (including grooming gangs, sex trafficking & exploitation), domestic, emotional, financial & psychological abuse (including forced marriage & so called honour-based violence), attachment disorders, self-harm & chronic strategies of disconnection, low self-confidence & low self-esteem, abortion, sex-related issues, reproductive identity, eating distress, substance misuse, coercive control & gaslighting, betrayal, affairs & divorce, transgenerational trauma & family issues and lifestyle mentoring & empowerment coaching.
