NATURAL EMERGENCE: GARDENING AN AWAKENING – AUTHOR TALK AND BOOK SIGNING

Alison Ensor

Alison Ensor will be giving a talk on her new book Natural Emergence: Gardening an Awakening, which weaves together wisdom gleaned from garden ecosystems and permaculture, with emotional awareness and spiritual awakening.

The book highlights when we react against “pests” and “weeds” in our gardens, we are really perceiving through the lens of our own ‘unwelcome’ parts. By exploring species such as slugs, snails, bindweed, and brambles through an ecological lens, Alison encourages people to understand the intelligence inherent in the whole system, and equally within us. She will offer grounded step-by-step practices during the talk to reveal how easy it is to perceive deeper sensory awareness, how we naturally do it but dismiss it as just our imagination. When we listen to these embodied messages, instead of dismissing, they are a doorway to awakening to our true nature.

This is for people who are interested in spiritual awakening, embodiment, nature and the intelligent consciousness of trees, plants and wildlife. Instead of learning something new, people will discover that they already doing it; that they are already one with nature and the cosmos and being spoken to and guided in every moment. We just need to remember how to listen.

The event price includes a signed copy of the book.

As a wellbeing and educational charity, The Isbourne aims to make its courses and workshops accessible to all regardless of income. We have researched how other organisations fund their courses and come up with a three tier pricing system:

Supported rate: this fee is less than the Standard and allows anyone with financial challenges to still participate. You do not have to show proof, this is offered on trust. This price is limited to one per transaction.

Standard rate: this is how much we would like all participants to pay as it covers The Isbourne costs and supports the tutor.
Sponsor rate: this is a little more than the Standard fee and allows you to subsidise and support others who might not be able to pay the Standard fee.

You choose what tier of payment best suits you - no questions asked!
