CBT Hypnotherapy is a proven psychotherapeutic technique that combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with Hypnosis.
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) is a therapeutic technique that looks at the links between what we think, feel, and do. Our thoughts affect the emotions we feel and the actions we take; our emotional responses affect the way we think about something and what we do in response. We can get into a vicious cycle of responding to situations or events. At times, we need help to identify and change these patterns of unhelpful thoughts, feelings and behaviours in order to enjoy life and all it has to offer.
Hypnotherapy – Hypnosis is a natural state of deep physical and mental relaxation during which an individual is fully conscious and in control. During hypnotherapy, the therapist guides the client into a state of deep relaxation using voice. Once in this deeply relaxed and focused state the client is able respond to suggestions and ideas designed to achieve goals agreed between client and therapist. In this state of deep relaxation or hypnosis, we can change the way we think and create positive change in our lives.
Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy is one of the most effective and proven therapy currently available.
