MINDFULNESS FOR CALM

Suzanne Thomas

This course is an introduction to mindfulness and compassion skills. Running across 4 weekly sessions of 1.5 hours, each week you will be provided with a variety of tools and skills to better manage everyday stress and anxiety. Each week Suzanne will lead several guided short meditations, exploration and group discussion, mixed with short weekly teachings.

This course is particularly helpful for those who would like to cope better with everyday stress or worry and add a bit more calm to their life.  It is suitable for anyone, especially those who are trying mindfulness for the first time or have little experience of mindfulness or meditation.

Suzanne will call each attendee, following their booking to check the course is right for them and the right time in life to be truly helpful. Learn mindfulness and self-compassion skills to help support you with life’s ups and downs and so develop inner calm.

Suzanne believes that everyone can benefit from learning how to use this life skill! If you are curious about learning new practices, open-minded, and can come with a beginner’s mindset, then this is a lovely opportunity to learn new skills in a safe environment.

This course shows attendees how to use mindfulness to support the relief of stress and anxiety, as well as reconnecting with joy and a zest for life. It will offer a gentle foundation of skills in mindfulness and compassion to carry with them in life, ultimately boosting happiness and calmer well-being.

Unfortunately, we are unable to supply any of these for the foreseeable future.

Drop-ins can not be accommodated at this time so please book in advance.

Please note: The Isbourne operates a minimum number policy. This means that if our minimum number is not met 24 hours before the session is scheduled to run, then we reserve the right to cancel the session. If you have paid a set fee for the cancelled session, you will get a full refund. Donations are non-refundable. We, therefore, advise customers to secure their place as soon as possible to avoid any disappointment. The Isbourne’s minimum number policy is under the guidance of the tutor running the session. Thank you for your understanding.

As a wellbeing and educational charity, The Isbourne aims to make its courses and workshops accessible to all regardless of income. We have researched how other organisations fund their courses and come up with a three tier pricing system:

Supported rate: this fee is less than the Standard and allows anyone with financial challenges to still participate. You do not have to show proof, this is offered on trust.

Standard rate: this is how much we would like all participants to pay as it covers The Isbourne costs and supports the tutor.
Sponsor rate: this is a little more than the Standard fee and allows you to subsidise and support others who might not be able to pay the Standard fee.

You choose what tier of payment best suits you - no questions asked!
