Suzanne Thomas

Offering Mindfulness for Stress and Health courses

Suzanne Thomas, known to all as Sue, is an accredited independent Breathworks Mindfulness teacher based in Cheltenham.

She has been helping clients with a wide range of emotional health issues for many years. Sue has worked as a cognitive behavioural therapist (CBT) within Gloucestershire NHS for a decade, with individuals as well as running group courses for stress and mindfulness. Prior to that, she managed and developed people in industry for over two decades in human resources management.  She retrained after leaving the NHS and is now an accredited Breathworks teacher as well as a registered BAMBA (British Association of Mindfulness-Based Approaches) teacher.

Sue runs mindfulness courses for the Isbourne Centre’s Community Wellbeing programme, as well as being available to offer mindfuness to other local charities.

She currently runs regular drop-in mindfulness sessions at Open Door, one of Cheltenham’s key local charities and loves it there.

Her courses are suitable for beginners in mindfulness and meditation or for those who already have a little experience. Sue's passion is to help individuals improve the quality of their emotional well-being and ultimately to gain more happiness and peace. Her personal values are action; kindness; positivity; compassion; genuineness; openness and acceptance, which she hopes reflect how she runs her courses.
