BALANCE AND CALM WITH QIGONG

All of us can experience stress and anxiety in our lives, it is a common human experience. However, staying too long in this state is unhealthy. Learn some simple, effective exercises to naturally release these tensions and cultivate more peace and balance.

Qigong (pronounced "chee gong") is an ancient Chinese exercise and healing system which includes gentle movement, posture and breathing techniques. These practices can improve and maintain physical, mental and emotional health, nourishing and energising the body whilst calming and balancing the mind. Suitable for all.

This is a Quality Mark course from our awarding body AIM Qualifications. Each session will include 1hr tutor-led time followed by 30 minutes for tea, coffee and chat.

These sessions are part of our community wellbeing programme, a collection of 4-week courses and drops-ins, designed to help people living with anxiety, depression, social isolation, bereavement, trauma and any other life circumstances that are affecting their wellbeing.
