We invite you to join us for these unique monthly sessions which aim to support those living with Dementia, Parkinson’s, M.S., chronic pain or any long term health condition. We also welcome those who are interested in holistic wellbeing as a preventative or self-care approach.
Throughout the sessions we will explore the ‘5 Pillars of Health’: Moving well, Sleeping well, Social connection, Emotional wellness and Nutritional health, giving you the opportunity to embrace a fresh perspective on your sense of contentment and ‘Living Well’ for a more fulfilled life.
You will be introduced to the gentle, mindful movement practice of TMW (Tai Chi Movements for Wellbeing) which allows us to embrace the learnings from the course in movement form. This can be done seated or standing as we encourage you to move within your own capabilities.
Each session includes 1.5hrs tutor-led session and refreshments at Oakley Community Resource Centre, followed by 30mins exclusive use of the unique Oakley Interactive Space. Loved ones or carers of those living with the health condition are also welcome to attend and participate (essential for those with Dementia).
This will be run as a four-week course initially, running from the 24th June until (and inclucing) the 22nd July (no session 8th July)
Followed by monthly sessions from August 2025 to February 2026 (dates listed below)
Each session will include 1hr tutor-led time at Oakley Community Resourse Centre, followed by 30 minutes exclusive use of the unique Oakley Interactive Space.
To register your place please call 01242 254321 or email Bonnie@isbourne.org.
These sessions are part of our community wellbeing programme, a collection of 4-week courses and drops-ins, designed to help people living with anxiety, depression, social isolation, bereavement, trauma and any other life circumstances that are affecting their wellbeing.
