Shantiseva Vinyasa classes are spiritually taught classes and open to all students.

This uplifting class connects movement and breath through the practices of pranayama (breathing exercises), music (sound), chanting (mantras) and meditation.

The practice connects with the five healing nature elements; air, ether, fire, water and earth, and therefore brings grounding and balance within as well as our connection to nature and Mother Earth. The healing qualities of nature will lift our mental, physical and spiritual bodies.

Shantiseva Vinyasa classes also connects us with the spiritual practice of Seva (selfless practice) which is Karma yoga, the yoga of action, that brings together service with devotion to Bhakti and Shanti which is a Sanskrit term meaning “peace”.

For this class, please feel free to bring any props such as blankets, pillows and bolsters to make you feel comfortable for the duration of your practice. Bring your own Yoga mat if you wish, there are spare if you don’t have one of your own.

Sunny is a qualified International Advanced Yoga Teacher based in Cheltenham, UK and registered with International Yoga Alliance. 

She is also a Certified Senior Shantiseva Vinyasa Yoga Teacher, Ashtanga and Bhakti Teacher registered with the Shantiseva Yoga Institute based in Whistler, Canada. 

Sunny is founder and owner of Sunny Devi Yoga based in Cheltenham, UK. Sunny Devi Yoga provides classes, workshops, training and retreats locally and Internationally. 

Please note: Doors will open 15 minutes before the session starts. Late arrivals sadly can’t be admitted, as it disrupts the peaceful experience for others. Please ensure you give yourself enough time to find a parking space. We really appreciate your understanding.
