Specialising in Therapeutic Art Workshops (non-clinical) and also offering Art classes and Themed workshops.

Stella Ashmeade is a qualified artist and educator with a passion for making creativity accessible to all.

She has a  BEd. Hons. Art & Design, alongside level 1 certification in drama therapy and  level 4 diploma in Art therapy.

Stella leads dynamic, inclusive sessions designed to break down barriers and ignite artistic expression, regardless of participants' experience levels. Stella’s approach integrates mindful art practices that boost confidence, reduce anxiety, and inspire creative thinking.

Her educational and wellbeing background adds depth to every session, focusing on personal growth, mental well-being, and the development of new perspectives. By harnessing the power of brain plasticity, Stella encourages innovative problem-solving and fosters a growth mindset in her participants.

Classes and Themed Workshops. What to expect:

  • Stella's art classes and themed workshops are designed to encourage everyone to explore various mediums and techniques at a level that suits them. These are for individuals to book.
  • Whether participants are beginners who haven’t touched a pencil or paintbrush since school, or they are looking to reignite a passion for art they wish to revisit and expand, her sessions offer something for everyone.
  • Each lesson/workshop is supported by Stella, who fosters an environment of confidence and relaxation, helping individuals feel at ease throughout their artistic journey.
  • Opportunities to experience group exhibitions and events run at intervals, throughout the year.

Bespoke Healthcare and Corporate Workshops. What to expect:

  • A tailor made programme for either a morning, afternoon or whole day or a set number of hours for healthcare settings or corporate organisations.
  • Space used can be within an organisation’s own setting or arranged, subject to discussion: all you need is a room with tables and chairs for all participants to sit at eg conference room/meeting room
  • All materials are provided
  • The session will consist of a variety of drawing and creative tasks that will challenge but not intimidate.
  • The activities allow colleagues to work in groups, pairs and as individuals.
  • All elements are designed to be accessible to all and are not dependent on any previous artistic experience.
  • The aim is to 1) build stronger, more harmonious working relationships; enhancing productivity within the workplace. 2) Create an environment where staff can destress and let go of work/personal stress
  • Links to a leaflet, detailing some tools for exploring this further, is available for each attendee.
