YOGA FOR EVERYONE

Jane Macpherson

Everybody is very welcome to Jane's classes. She teaches all abilities in the same class – whether you are a beginner or have had a break…or an experienced yogi who is looking to deepen your knowledge of yoga in all its aspects.

A Senior Yoga Teacher, Jane has taught yoga for over 20 years, and teaches a variety of styles of yoga. Jane is trained in the Iyengar method (IAYT 500 hours) but also in vinyasa, yin, vini and restorative yoga. She also uses her 14 years’ experience as a certified yoga therapist (Director of the Yoga Therapy Association and CNHC accredited) to ensure you receive a holistic practice involving breathing (pranayama), mudra (hand gestures), meditation techniques and guided relaxation and restorative practices including yoga nidra. Each class is different, and Jane adapts the yoga practices to the group.

The main premise is that the yoga practice is suitable for you and your body. You are your own teacher, and Jane offers adaptations using props and alternatives for you to ensure you feel safe and centered while working to your own potential.

For this class, you will need to bring your own:

  • Yoga Mat
  • Blanket
  • Refreshments
  • Eye pillow - if you like to use one

Unfortunately, we are unable to supply any of these for the foreseeable future

Please note: The Isbourne operates a minimum number policy. This means that if our minimum number is not met 24 hours before the session is scheduled to run, then we reserve the right to cancel the session. If you have paid a set fee for the cancelled session, you will get a full refund. Donations are non-refundable. We, therefore, advise customers to secure their place as soon as possible to avoid any disappointment. The Isbourne’s minimum number policy is under the guidance of the tutor running the session. Thank you for your understanding.

As a wellbeing and educational charity, The Isbourne aims to make its courses and workshops accessible to all regardless of income. We have researched how other organisations fund their courses and come up with a three tier pricing system:

Supported rate: this fee is less than the Standard and allows anyone with financial challenges to still participate. You do not have to show proof, this is offered on trust. This price is limited to one per transaction.

Standard rate: this is how much we would like all participants to pay as it covers The Isbourne costs and supports the tutor.
Sponsor rate: this is a little more than the Standard fee and allows you to subsidise and support others who might not be able to pay the Standard fee.

You choose what tier of payment best suits you - no questions asked!
